Thanks for the thread. Asked my friend to try Man Shing and Wan Shing, as another CS member recommended the shop to me.

FR1 was fixed for $150, inclusive of cleaning the 50mm f/1.4. Nothing broken or spoilt, just had to get the old gears running again. Acceptable price I feel.

BTW Man / Wing Shing don't do grey or used so you need to check HKG v SIN prices carefully

good job on the FR1 - hope your boss is happy

No problem. Catch up with you next time to buy you a drink too. The Manfrotto 322 is excellent & those people at Ruby & Cathay who saw it were all asking me about it. Can't believe it's not available here yet.
