The promotion leaflet doesn't have LX3 in it leh. Ya bro creampuff, how much did your friend pay for the LX3? If same as MS Color and Alan Photo, I might as well get from the roadshow.

$699 with 8 gig and screen protector if I remember correctly (GST inclusive).
Price is more or less the same everywhere. Buy where you can find ready stock. Pointless to go hunt around the island when the cab fare to get there works out to be the same.
Anyway I think it makes no sense to hunt down supposed best deals for cheapo accessories like a $2 screen protector. :bsmilie:

denis, my friend says it's $699 with screen protector and 2 x 8GB toshiba class 2 SDHC cards. had the option of swopping 1 of the SD cards for a third-party battery, but they were out of stock.
harvey norman was running the roadshow so i think paying by CC is possible.

I got my black LX3 today at a shop in Far East Plaza - $645 with 8GB card only. Quite a few other shops there had stock too, so you guys might wanna check it out.
Btw, there was this other shop there as well which sells the silver LX3 for $599! But oddly enough, they're selling the black one for $799! I was rather amused at this. :dunno:

which shop in far east selling at 599? and what other accessories does it come with?
I can't remember the name of the shop, but its at the entrance of Far East Plaza, directly opposite the pharmacy (Watson's / Guardian), and beside the information counter. Its quite a large shop, so you definitely won't miss it.
I didn't probe further once he told me that $599 was only for the silver LX3, so I don't know what accessories it comes with.
erm, 645 inclusive of GST?

go for it dude.. 645 is already a good buy. just check the warranty this could be grey set. highly recommended PnS camera. i bought mine @lords 680+leather case+8gb sd card few months ago.

the price quoted to me was $699 with 8gb SDHC card, tripod stand and card reader. any comments on this bundle?
am still considering if I should get my set at he roadshow or not..
btw if anyone wants to go down to the roadshow at Millenia Walk, today's the last day.

was at milenia walk today and was offered also the option of pre-ordering. but was told initially only need to wait for 3 days to 1 week.. then when i filled up my details and everything about to settle payment, another guy told me the stock is going to reach only end of the month which i was pissed off as have to wait more than initial offer..
end up didn't buy though..:angry:
called up lord's camera thereafter and was told that comex has stock ask me go there grab quick quick, but in the end turned into dissapointment as not selling there..
bought a P6000 in the end ;p
