Updated LX3 Price with bundled accessories

I'm letting go of a brand new black casing (came with the bundle, but i already bought the retro looking case!!) at $13. Anyone who's interested, pm me!

yup..i normally place the camera upside down in that clamcase...feels it fits better that way and i can easily access the SD card if i need to without having to remove the camera.

anyway...got the retro-looking leather case (one u see in ebay)..a friend bought it from HK..

hey this retro-looking case can fit a LX3 fitted with the ricoh LC-1 lens cap?

arghhhhh
just after nearly 3 wks i got my LX3, now got bundle with case.
i bought the case for $19.
but nvm, nice to use and the service from bryan (AP SLS) was super good.

for bros and sis who wanna get hotshoe cover for LX3, CP still selling.
$4, is a original Nikon BS-1 but can fit, and i'm happy with it, though the customer service is not really good, but heck, the hotshoe cover is good enough.

TK-photo verbally promised me the case when i purchased from them 3 weeks ago, till now they haven't receive the goods yet...

Quoted for cash payment $664, happy with price so didn't bargain.

Got a Screen Protector for $2.

Quoted 3rd party battery at $6 (but no stock) and Kingston 8GB Class 6 SD Card at $24.90 ( If i remember the exact price correctly, but confirm less than $30)

quite a good deal if they had given you a class 6 SDHC card. most places only give class 2.

I agree thats why I list it clearly as Class 6 SD Card. Quality freebies vs Quantity freebies :P

i just got my LX3 from AP SLS!
big thank you to those who've helped me! ;)

the bundle i got includes :

-3rd party batt
-mini tripod
-card reader
-8 gb kingston card
-screen protector

and also, i got the black hard casing for $19.
so total, i payed $680 + $19 = $699

and i did call AP before going down, and requested for bryan.
during my purchase at AP with bryan, my gf and i were impressed by his excellent service!
he's very patient, and answered my questions, and even taught me how to use the cam.

:thumbsup:for bryan of AP sls!

got my LX3 from bryan today too. I must say that he is one of the best salesman I had encountered in AP SLS.

the bundle i got includes :

-3rd party batt
-mini tripod
-card reader
-8 gb kingston card (class 4)
-screen protector
-Panasonic clam case
Price: $680 w/gst (cash)

Bryan was patient throughout the entire purchase process. The first set of LX3 he showed me had some dust inside the lens. I requested to see a second set. Although he had put in the SD card and the batt, he readily repacked everything back into the box and showed me a 2nd set. This is really good customer service.

After I checked and confirmed that everything is ok with the 2nd set, he demo the functions of the LX3 and help me install the screen protector.

I wanted to buy a 16GB SD card but he advised that I should use the 8GB first and buy additional only if its not enough. Another plus point and this distinguishes him from other salesman that pushes you to buy useless accessories.

PS: I also realised that the LX3 batt is the same as my 5 year old Lumix FX9. Talk about backward compatibility for Panasonic! Now I got 2 chargers and 4 batts!

Shucks need to get a card reader to upload pics. Dun wan the hassle of USB wires.
Any idea how much it costs?

Do buy a good one.

Cause I bought a cheap multi-card reader (USB 2.0), the transfer speed is only 1 MB/s...
Now Need to get another one.

how come the 3rd party OEM battery selling for only $6?
is it really that cheap or the batt quality isn't good? i heard some say the batt is worth $35.

the OEM batt is just a backup, definitely no where near the original batt. i got mine at $6 at slr rev.

Yes please get a good one, preferably from Sandisk or Lexar. Tried on a cheap card reader and the pics came out wonky. Transfer speed is not too big an issue for the LX3 unless you always shoot in RAW or have a very large SD card.
last price i know is 4 bucks at sitex...

At least yours not so bad. I've heard of some who had their card fried becos of dodgy cheapo card readers.
