Well, I'm only reacting at the assumption that we are sniping models that we were not assigned to. yilishengxian, you should know better. The only time we shot other models was at the last 10 minutes of group shot, random shootings. Klose has up to 70mm, I'm using 85mm, we snipe? Ha ha...

It's good to feedback about the shoot. Thus, Sue Kay, the oragniser can enhance her organising skills. However, perhaps it's time to cool down. It may sound kind of discouraging to the oragniser if this continue. Pardon me for interupting.

Pardon my spelling.

Fun! Excuse me. If you have your own bloody model assigned to your group shoot her. Not take other group's models wait for your bloody turn. You know who you are. Thumbs down to that.

Thank goodness... not me. I stick with my group, as far as i know, our group is always the one who is waiting for the models when called to change...where the other simply ignore... but what to do? :dunno:

Yah i agree, we should all cool down, I think some of us actually talked to Sue and she did claim that she's inexperience in organising, so i think it's a learning experience for her too. But again, it is also good where the photographers bring up any comment about the shooting so that the organiser can look into rroom of improvement

Yes, I know. I also didn't have a proper chance to take their pictures. Especially when I did not have a proper wide angle lens.

While I agree that there should be proper planning of switching of models, there should be a proper switch of scenery for the models too. I feel that the (you can bring your model anywhere and snap) and the large group of photographers created most of the mess.

May I suggest that the each group take turns to shoot their assigned models at each assigned places before moving on to the next model will be easier.

Correction. It's also the social etiquette of certain photographers that contributed to this mess. Anyway, I hope Suekay understood that big crowds and small locations dont match up and all the best for future shoots. For me, I think I will go back to shooting one to one. Cheers.

yup. its all down to social etiquette. ive been to shoots with 5 per model, and everyone is polite and everyone gets equal shooting time.

ive been to other shoots with similar numbers, where you get a couple in the group who think the model belongs to them... and it really isnt fun..

I think Suekay has done a good job. For the price you pay, you get to shoot at a nice place with food not to mention 7 models?

She can easily charge 100 per head with lesser photographers and still people will go but I guess she is trying to lower the price so that many others can afford and join the shoot and have fun.

Is the place too cramp? I don't think so. There are so many areas where we can shoot but were not used. The main problem is some photographers shoot the models they like even though they are assigned to a model.

If you really like to shoot that particular model, why not approach Suekay to ask for private shoot. Actually I had asked her to arrange liao.

Lastly, if you think that your one cent is as big as Bullock Cart Wheel, I guess this type of shoot isn't really meant for you. Cause this type of shoot, usually its more of making and meeting friends then doing serious shooting.

Sorry to say this, maybe as a senior newbie, that's my opinion.

Well, I agree with Bobman.
