I always make the buyer promise he will pay the stated price if he's satisfied with the item condition as stated in my thread.

No bargaining on the spot unless my item condition is worse than what is stated in my thread

Hi all,

There's a nice epilogue to this story. I managed to sell my D300 in the end, at my asking price no less. I guess there are still people out there who appreciate a good camera when they see one and don't mind paying what it's worth.

Thanks for all the support, advice and kind words everyone has given. In the end, the best way to get back at people like Cheong is to hold out until a proper deal comes along. But I'll still be keeping a lookout here for his phone number.
