Astin, you interested in this event? i was actually thinking of making it a more "fun" event, and we can decide if we can get down to more serious business and better photography conditions after this try out.

Yes I am interested in this event. If Elsie is keen, I can help to organize the event and arrange for a swimming pool. Most likely will be a pool in a condo, bigger than those private pool in bungalow.
(I have asked my own models on this underwater event, some are interested but we dont have the equipment to do it)

2-3 models will be good , becos it will be too tiring for just one person.

Elise is ok for the underwater shoot, but she prefers the first shoot to be a trial shoot, so I will limit to 2 participants only. I will arrange for a water-proof makeup and hairstyling, and also a swimming pool. The dress code will be either bikini or fashion or both, not too sure yet.
Elise will do this time as TFP/TFCD, I need to collect $60 for each participant, for makeup artist and makeup gadget as well.

I dont have any underwater pro camera, only a cheapo Nikon Coolpix with underwater casing. I also do not have diving gear and do not know how to dive, but I can swim pretty ok.

Who is interested to shoot?

U are correct. Sometimes can be TFM (time for makan) or TFB (time for beer)

I am experienced in shooting models on land, not experienced underwater, so this is try-try concept, hence small group.

hiyah... shoot slide also no use. ask the rest who have seen.
anyway photography is not about the equipment u use... p&s nothing bad and slide not necessary good and i'm not about to get into a discussion on that..

i'm not experienced at all in fashion nor uw photography so i'm just saying i'd be more than willing to pass on my slot to someone more proficient than me, rather than to waste a chance for me to 'use slide' and shoot nonsense...

wa, two persons only? thats a bit too little, and hard to decide who can go who cannot go, now that we have so many people interested. I would suggest to allow more participants but do it on a slower and easier basis. I have never gone on a photoshoot before, so i dunno if my comments are reasonable, but i guess we do not have to stress out the model too much. two models for five photogs would be better than one model to two photogs.

u don't need to pay the model for posing for u. u pay with prints/cd/makan/beer
so she's giving u her time, u give her whatever so it's TF_____

TFP, model will pose for photographer for free (time), in return, photographer will shoot photos and give the model some good prints to keep as portfolio (prints).
In the old days, model agency will charge model for shooting portfolio, and model agency will charge photographer for shooting model.
