Unable to register?

A friend of mine is having trouble registering as a member of clubsnap. The system keeps saying the user name is already in use despite it simply isn't the case (name not found in members list). :dunno: Any idea why?

He/She/Someone else could have already registered the nick but its unverifed (via the email process)

He was able to pick an unused name, activated, and is currently under moderation. Thanks for the clarification.
