Ultimate Leica

Currently lensless:)

What are you waiting for?:p Think of all the lost photo opportunities!

Just buy a Nokton 50mm f/1.1 for slightly less than 1.5k to start, it is a great lens. Chiif and a lot of other places have it in stock.

If you want something Leica, either the 35 or 50mm Summicron are amazing starter lenses that may become your main lens. The 50mm Summicron is amazingly sharp at f/2 and really small with a built in retractable hood. New 50mm Summicron goes for about 2.5k.

If you want something faster, the new 35mm Summilux with floating element is great but quite expensive, close to 8k new and the waiting list in Singapore is pretty long. Hong Kong has some stock though, www.9days.hk is very reliable, or if you are there yourself, try New Cameron or Tin Cheung. 50mm Summilux is another great lens, one of the all time favorites, about 5k new.

Lastly, if you do get the Nokton and you find that it is your cup of tea, can always upgrade to the Noctilux.

Canon f/0.95 "dream" lens have to be very careful with converted ones, depending on who did it, it can be a good job or a really bad one.

For unconverted ones, hard to find someone to do the conversion, definitely need to send to the US I think.

In my opinion to declare an ultimate lens defeats the purpose of an interchangeable lens camera.

Words of Wisdom.

Cheers,
