Obama wanted to ask Congress for permission to teach Assad a lesson after chemical weapons were used.
Congress was about the reject the US president with a historic "Not Allowed".

Putin took note of how the Republicans have worked non-stop for 6 years to humiliate and obstruct Obama.
If Obama is so weak that he cannot even handle Assad, how can he stare down Putin.

Obama just likes to make speeches - but he is completely powerless.

America's politicians have ruined USA's status in the world by relentlessly undermining and sabotaging its own elected US president Obama.
To such an extent that now Obama is afraid to do anything.
 

Tell Putin that Pattaya is more fun than those East European countries.
Putin has a ready made excuse to invade in order to "protect Russian speaking people". Many Russians in Pattaya.

Unfortunately Ukraine does not have vast oil reserves. Big powers do not want to send military to defend it because cannot justify the ROI.

In the case of Kuwait and the next domino Saudi Arabia, USA sent in a huge army in the blink of an eye when Iraq invaded.

Russian made Igla series of Man-Portable Air-Defense System (MANPADS), Infrared homing Surface-To-Air Missiles (SAMs) has been identified as being used by separatist insurgents from the self-proclaimed state of Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) to down two Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) Mil Mi-24 Hind attack helicopters during the Siege of Sloviansk in eastern Ukraine.
 

As Ukrainian counteroffensive efforts begins to gain momentum after months in the aftermath of what the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has labelled an impending humanitarian crisis with millions of civilians going about their lives day by day without access to electricity, food / water and medical care. The tide of war is now in Kiev's favour as they demand with an ultimatum to all Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) separatist forces to surrender just hours ago.

High confidence intelligence reports indicated the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Western / Southern Operational Strategic Command has so far amassed several divisions numbering 50,000 on a high alert of operational readiness, right at the borders of Eastern Ukraine.

This could suggest that the Russian Federation will be force to act with a full-scale invasion if the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) were to fall as the current death toll rise to the thousands so far.

  • Mysterious Russian "humanitarian convoy" consisting of over 280 Russian Army Kamaz prime movers and semi-trailers hastily painted white, loaded in secrecy and stretching over a distance of 3 km is detouring all over the place seemingly without a clear destination in mind, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has released several statements reiterating that this Russian "humanitarian convoy" has never been operating under their auspice and they have absolutely no idea what it may or may not contain as have never been given the chance to conduct a inspection and verify the cargo manifest which is in contrary to numerous reports released by the Russian government.
