3rd stone from the sun
England suffered the ultimate humiliation.
The Premier clubs can come up with a lot of money
to buy Foreign players. But the own
Players disappear with the national team in Nirvana.
Money can not buy a team, never ever,
And that's good. Thank God.

First out of the EU - now the occurs in the ass
and out from the EURO2016 - p e r f e c t :bsmilie:

(ps: sorry for the lousy google translation);)

....what happens if, as requested by the racists
all foreigners/imigrants to leave the country with the
many foreign players in the Premier League????

Partial play mostly in the big Premier clubs
foreign players.

Then the racists play among themselves and against each other. :bsmilie:

Singaporeans are not interested in the EURO 2016th ?!

In an hour:
France against Iceland
My guess 3: 0 for France

btw. Does anyone have the extremely exciting game Germany seen against Italy?

This Euro cup just shows me a few things.

1) You cannot clearly define the nationality of the people representing many of the countries playing here. It become quite meaningless if this is France or Belgium. Better watching the clubs playing.
2) You may have assembled the most expensive team, they are not necessarily the best. So, the expensive players are about marketing not skill.
3) Many of the fans are there to fight not to watch football. Not sure they understand anything about the game. Win or lose they also fight or even 'celebrate' by destroying properties. Funny thing is the TV also love to show footage to encourage other apes to follow. What so nice about their celebration when they climb up on the taxi?
4) Today's footballers are not showing good examples for the young to emulate. Those tattoos, weird piercing, etc are not desirable. Maybe I am old fashion but being a public figure, they have obligation to the young generation.

In all, soccer has become more commercialised than before. Looking forward to the good old day of pure football.

i personally thought Iceland and Portugal has done very well this time round, both team has exceed past their own expectations.

especially Iceland using the outdated 4-4-2 system on counter attack has work wonders against teams that are more attack minded.
solid piece of defending from them.

Portugal as well has been able to change styles and be patient for counterattacks, also very solid defending from them in order to get this far.
perhaps they have been lucky to meet the less seeded teams on route to the final.

Maybe I sound like sour grapes but it's a rather boring tournament where teams play not to win but not to lose ..
Not too many exciting moments to relive ..
As usual team England was a lot of hype.
Congrats to Portugal and France lost it rather than Portugal won it ..

ball is round... you never know which direction it is going to spin to...
