OK a few TZ7 shots to share, click on pix to examine the pixels.

Nice shots, but all of them were taken under bright sunlight. Can you post some pictures under low lighting?

You got the fortune of good weather, my visit was very glommy.
Was thinking the Pics for Tz thread is better for posting pics and this thread for comparisons kind of thingie.
Its indeed a gem and confirmed further by dpreview althou it has been reviewed as more than outstanding by many reviews already. My family and friends are stunned by its video quality.

Oh third Party battery works, one of the reasons that may discourage some to buy is gone.

I wouldnt say its as reliable as the original ones but well..... the ones i had for Tz1 and K10D works well, in fact the K10D one might last even longer in a single charge.
So that means you only got the camera for $555 when you agreed to pay the extra $52?
What were they quoting for the camera only if you didnt buy the extended warranty?

You don't have to buy the extended warranty if you don't want it.
In facts they did not mentioned it before I asked for the extended warranty.

My first post and in fact my first attempt to buy a digital camera...
Can't find any panasonic at PCShow 2009, they are not participating. Went to funan and courts there selling at $649 (wGST)....shop around and at two of the 3rd floor shop (near exit to MITA I think), one quoted me $580 and the other was $530 (woGST). Some negotiation and upped to $630 (include GST) for camera/case/2x8GB SD/1x original 845MA bat/1x 3800MaH bat)/LCD protector
Question is, for all those who bought the TZ7, what was the original bat included? If it is the 845Mah one, no wonder there was comment that the battery life is bad

Original TZ7 comes with the 895mAh DMW-BCG10E battery. Life is weak...last only about 100+ shots.

Very clear and good sound, but my gosh, 1 minute of movie it's 184MB.....so if one takes 15 minutes (max)....

this is 720p (1280×720) at 25 fps and only encoded in MPEG2 so its rather large. It should be encoded in MPEG4 (for HD video) but the camera offers AVCHD Lite format which I did not choose because of editing ease.
