Type of Battery used for 550EX or 580EX

I use the Maha powerex 2700 ones for my flashes and another set of backup! They are:thumbsup:

I also have problem with the Sanyos 2100, 2500. Can only hold charge for few days. I have about 20 of them.;(
The Sony betteries are a lot better.
Now trying out powerex 2700, Bought from Eastgear.

Already ordered online 4x2700 AA batteries + charger to see how good they are...

Since the 2100, I have issues of reliability with Sanyos for their abilities to hold their charge. I have about 20 odd sitting around. They're so bad I don't even feel like selling them.

Sanyo Eneloops. They're only 1000mah (can't remember lah, but quite low) but they hold their charge forever. That makes them infinitely more useful than my other NiMH batteries that are 2700 but die after 3 days. Forever need to charge just before use. Where got time!!?!??

I have a set of Eneloops... They are rated at 2000mAh... 1000 is so pathetatic for AA batts lo...;p
