Viewfinder is dark, mechanical zoom on the lens sux. TVS 2 is better then TVS 1, but only in terms of ergonomics as they both share the same lens. TVS 2 is an upgrade of TVS 1, with a brighter viewfinder and better mechanical zoom. Flash is weak on both models. Image quality is not that great, considering the money you would have to fork out. Sometimes you get really nice sharp pictures, sometimes you don't, and it is hard to understand why. In this respect, the images that you get out of the TVS 3 is better, but ergonomics wise, TVS 3 sux as well. e.g. wait for the darn drawbridge to lower, zoom is automated like some cheap PnS. Of the three, TVS 2 is still the best of the lot.
I have never tried the Leica CM Zoom, but it sure does look good on paper, especially with the mechanical zoom, better flash, hotshoe and of course better glass. Price is however a drawback, about SGD1.9K as quoted from CP. I have fiddled with a Leica CM, but still looking around for the CM zoom to fiddle with.
