I can't help but think of the irony of the Gardens.
The river used to open out to the sea.
Then it was reclaimed and it had a small inlet.
Then it was dammed up and is now freshwater.
Culminating in the opening of the Gardens.

The Gardens almost like a celebration to all this.
A pinnacle showcase of development over what was...

Like the dramatic cloud of this picture and the colour tones. The more I visited this forum the more I feel inspire by you guys.

End point of Continental Asia


Iceland today, Mongolia tomorrow, Peru the next.
I just envy the the opportunities some of the folks here have to get to all these places.
I can only look at their nice photos and hope (maybe in 10 years time)
Sometimes it becomes too painful to even look , knowing that its impossible for me for now.

Even on a staycation, it has to be on nobodies time.....
