Trustworthy place to buy a camera.

Hi all, any idea if bargaining necessary in AP? I went there once and found that some of their stuff a bit overpriced, maybe it's because I am new to the shop.

I feel each one of us will find a shop that will best meet our needs eventually.It may be Jn 3:16, AP, CP or MS.More importantly, we build a relationship with these shops,perhaps the people working in theese shop. That's where you built the trust factor cos you have built up a friendship with them. And they will be more willing to give you discounts or privileges such as sitting in their shops to talk ****.:bsmilie:

Oh, just my personal preference, the pple at John 3:16 are really helpful,they may not be the cheapest around,but they give good service.Esp sam and leslie. and should i go CP, Auntie Florence is always more than willing to give me a good discount too! while at AP, so far, it has been Aki, a nice young man who is knowledgeble.

I would recommend MS Color at AMK. I find their prices are slightly lower than AP or CP. You can negotiate a little and if you pay by nets (instead of credit card), they usually will give you some discount.

I agree. Most of the cameras that i have owned are bought from MS Color. :thumbsup:

heh...jus bought a d70s frm tk......bought at the price i was quoted (dunno whether it was a gd idea or not)........no discounts or aniting........but guess the uncle looks trustworthy n sincere........actually called me twice to tell me the d70s i was waiting for has been delivered n made gd his promise to reserve it for me even though some ang moh wanted it.(he cld have prob earned more frm quoting a higher price wif the ang moh i guess). So kinda happy to buy frm him. Guess a gd buyin experience is more impt than getting the best steal for me.
