Recently, I bought a tripod which did not come with a camera mount. May I know where I'll be able to find one?the tripod model is a Digipod SL1800

this is a cheap tripod and don't think you able to find parts for that, and if I'm not wrong, the tripod head is not removable at all.

so it is pretty useless, if you paid for that, be it brand new from shop or bought used from someone, just return it.

Yes, bought it from Carousel and can't return it due to the seller's reluctance. I realised that the missing part is actually a base plate rather than a tripod head. Do you think I would be able to find one somewhere?

than just give him bad rating lar.

I don't think is a good idea to waste any more money on this, take it as a lesson and move on. Unless you ask someone to donate a tripod to you.

Just save up and buy a more decent tripod which can last you for many years.

You can probably only find a replacement by buying another SL1800.

There's a slight chance that a lot of manufacturers use the same design for basic OEM 'free gift' kinda tripods, you can try your luck and see if you can find a generic piece with similar measurements on ebay, but of course if it doesn't find you'll end up with two useless pieces. IMO, might be cheaper to write it off and get something decent.

If you wanna try, this one looks like it has a similar shape and claims to be "Spare Quick release plate Suitable for Velbon CX-444, CX-888, CX-460, CX-460mini, CX-470, CX-570, CX-690, DF-50 SONY VCT-D580RM, VCT-D680RM, VCT-R640". IF the SL1800 is a copy/OEM of these other tripods, there's a chance. Haha. See for yourself: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tripod-Quic...405?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ee1ab447d

Buy nice or buy twice. (Thrice for slower ones)
