I found TK Sirui pricelist here

Yeah I found it after I searched pricelist on google, or click pricelist on their webpage.

I browse a lot on the phone, so somehow when I first clicked on pricelist on tk foto, I wasn't shown the option of Sirui...

Good to see that Giottos are making new tripods, when I was looking for one last time, they were impossible to find

They were getting trashed by Benro very badly till they dumped their entire line of tripods and went back to the drawing board and totally redesigned their tripods. Good to see them back in the mix and their Shenzhen factories humming along again.

I am not a fan of their ball heads though, especially with their proprietary QR plates.

Hey, I was looking for a tripod for the past 3 weeks and finally settled for one which meet my needs and wants.
I am no expert but would like to share, if I may.
For a $200 budget,there is a package for Manfrotto 190 series+486 ballhead( if I recall).

It depends a lot on your heaviest setup and where/when would you be using it.
Weight is one factor but I would think payload is more crucial. After all, stick the tripod on a back pack, and the load is distributed.
3 sections and 4 sections make a difference too.

The other factor is your height. If you are too tall, then 190 series may be tad short unless u you like to crank up the centre column all the time.

I reckon you are in no rush, The best thing is to try as many tripod of different config as you can before decide on the brand and price.

TS already bought a tripod. http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/threads/937301-Tripod-help-needed-Fotopro-or-Manfrotto?p=7335208#post7335208

Thanks guys! After your recommendation, I did a research on Sirui.

Found out that the T-1004X tripod and the G-20 ballhead was a reasonably good combi for entry level. Good for travel, about 1.5kg in total with the ballhead.

Went down to TK Foto and looked at it, and bought it. Good height for my hubby too if he wants to use it (he's 1.84m).

Thanks for all your input :)

I bought the same thing today very good at TK Foto...look for Philip...best
