It's a sign the birds saw a snake or a cat.

In all likelihood, the birds near the epicentre had a wild reaction too, but this would be 5-10 minutes before the earthquake.

i have totally not felt it. was at bukit timah all the time. first quake was having break eating lunch. never feel anything. 2nd one having lessons also nv feel. i think i already very tired doze off so never feel anything. lol.
