Travel portraits

This was shot in Venice. Liked it because it shows a more intimate look of venice, with a gondola crossing under a bridge

Loved her reaction. Seldom see this nowadays as she has all grown up and much more self concious

Famous Australia landmark. Went back one month back but did not produce anything better than this shot years ago.

This is probably the first "nice" pic I ever took.... My first vacation with my wife after the honeymoon. Taken with an 5 Meg pixel Oly E1.

Yes. I always ref your picture for inspiration. Hehe . Was trying to do that on my personal trip as well...
Do you always have to find yourself running up and down to "stage" the scene? Or you see a composition coming up.. then anticipate.. BAM take the shot.. lots to learn from ya.

Most of it is staged. I usually see some picture which is worth taking, ask my wife to bring the kid there and do something natural.... try not to look posed although it is posed. like walk a bit, interact with the kid, etc. Then I take the pics.

Shutter shot timing is perfect though.. hehe very photogenic family. Cheers
