Hi all! Is there any bro here who can help me on how to transfer captured movies from a handycam to PC. I am using the old Sony DCR-IP220E ( micro mv ) and when I transfer the movies into PC it always end up not complete. Tried it several times and say an event that i film for 1 hour will end up only 10 minutes. Please help. Hope there is somebody here who ss familiar with the videocam that I'm using. Thanks!

This is a Network Handycam DCR-IP220E have not been seen sometime ago. Have you check the menu how to capture the video into PC?

The IP220E uses Sony's proprietary MicroMV format, which records in mpeg-2 format onto tiny 60-minute tapes. The new model is Bluetooth enabled and is packed with networking features, including a built-in browser and email.:D

yeah! its kinda old already.I tried to transfer it via firewire and was able to do so.however after burning it to vcd it turned out to be very short compared to what i've capture in the tape.:( 'm not sure whether it is an issue of software or I just dont know what to do or how to it.I tried to make it in the final movie using the supplied software ( MovieMaker ) and Nero but got the same result.Anyway,do you know any shop who can do transfer from MIcroMV to VCD or DVD.I asked few shops and they said that they only have equipments to do DV or Mini DV.Thanks!
