wow... i like yr shots... and thanx for sharing setup. means more to learn. thank you.

yes i love it alot.. mine one is the RD600 jinbei.. I think 600w is ok for broad day light.. but if you really want to take over the sun even 12noon.. i suggest 1k watts. 250 is Ok indoors and under shades and cloudy day.. but not outdoors on broad daylight..

the only thing i dont like with jinbei is the lowest output intensity is still powerful indoors.. need to control the light with grids if want to create the dramatic light. i am sure you already know what to do on that as you are more experience than me :sweatsm:

Thanks, I think i'll be happy with just 250W then :D. I doubt i'll use the studio lights for daylight shot, probably stick with an SB600 and reflectors for a fill.

I've only done a few studio lighting shoots, i'm not that experienced yet. Hence why I want to get my own setup ;)

Thanks for taking the effort to draw/post the diagrams, most appreciated!

Your outdoor shots, what are you using to power your strobes? portable battery? I have no idea how much they cost, and how many shots you can get from a full charge

yah its a portable battery.. i am using a cheap strobe.. 600w jinbei.. to be honest i never had any problem with the battery.. i never experienced one day shoot and ran out of battery.

mine one cost around 600sgd. full set. includes battery and light stand and trigger.
