Trade in/ Buy In of Camcorder

Is there any shop in the market that allows trade in your the shop buy in our Camcorders? I have a HDC SD900 which i bought about 4-5 months ago with warranty extended another 2 years.Spent about 2K in total.

I would like to go upgrade to NX5 or maybe to another cam.

Anyone can help?

Not aware of any shops that do so. Even if there are shops that do, I suspect the valuation will be way too low for you to consider anyways (think Cash Converters) E.g., If they think they might be able to sell at $X, they'll offer you half.

If you really want to sell it off with minimal loss, I'd go with DIY listing on CS and a couple of the local forums like hwz, vr-zone, craigslist, gumtree, olx, etc. No bites? Gradually lower the price until you get someone interested. If you don't want the hassle of listing/selling yourself then Cash Converters might be your only option. Other option is to throw it up on ebay, open to international bidding. Searched completed listings, there was one that sold at US$680 recently.

Then keep posting until someone does. If not go to adorama and request a quote from them. I'm telling you they will quote much cheaper than you bought plus shipping and transaction is a pain in the ass.
