After more than a month of pain, finally did an x-ray and realised that i have a fractured finger. Puzzling how the A&E department missed it on the day itself... but it's going to be a tough recuperation period now...

Thanks! it was quite a phenomenon, and the bugs were quite aggressive! Yes I will get well soon! Having a finger (even the smallest one) in a splint is really quite a nuisance ...
