I like this!

Thanks for dropping by! it was an unexpected find while walking around. i was blessed with a lovely sky that morning and a contrail (must be from one of the jets from the nearby Tengah Airbase)

Another reflection shot from the canal. Two buildings across the canal with different shapes and layouts, yet sprouting some similarities at the same time.

Still some shots using the reflections from the canal water. I guess not you won't find many places that have the MRT tracks over waterbodies?

impressive, how do you get the refelctions so even?

Thank you for your comments!

I think the even reflections can be credited to that particular moment, where the ambient lighting conditions are great and the water is still. I find the early morning light really nice and even, just enough to light everything and yet not overpowering. I've visited the canal stretch a few times and conditions are different every time...

Another shot from a different angle. Not often to have the water so still, so tried to capture some nice angles. Pity about the factories in the background though, but what's there is there.

Love your reflection series especially the 25 Jan one.
Would be nice if have more space on left and right but it's minor thing one...

Nice capture

Thanks for your comments! good point on allowing more space, will take note. :) I guess i composed it too tight, i suspect there might be other factory buildings flanking on both sides too that will end up in the pic otherwise... will check out and see if there is a way to allow more space next time.

Ran out of reflection shots, so here's one of an uncle that doesn't seem to run out of steam... i found the many horizontal strips/layers in this scene interesting so decided to capture it, and since the colors weren't that interesting i tried it in B&W. Not sure if it works?

Relaxing beach on Khai Island (or is it Khai Nok Island?). Love the vibrace of the technicolor chairs and umbrellas so pardon if i pushed the saturation too much here, i just felt the scene warrants a more vibrant presentation :)

Awesome shot here. Great vibrant colours all the way to the back.
Loving it!

1st February 2010

Today i bade goodbye to a wonderful lens that served me well for my landscape shots. Too many lens to keep for a poor hobbyist so gotta sell to fund for upgrades. Hope the new owner enjoys taking wide angle photos as much as i do!
