Thanks for the suggestion. Always use protected Li-ion cells from reputable manufacturers (AW, EagleTac). And for chargers, I would strongly recommend Xtar or Nitecore/Jet beam/Sysmax Intellichargers. Be careful, cos Li-ion batteries can be dangerous.

To add to what has been discussed earlier. If you are considering using LED flashlights, then do consider the colour temperature of the LED emitter used. Ideally, you'd like to get a high CRI LED or very least a neutral or warm tint emitter for photography or videography. A lot of the off the shelf lights use cool tint emitters (e.g. most of the nightcore lights), so you may have to play around with the white balance.
