Hope you enjoy it as much as I do but a piece of advice to you. Never carry the light in your pockets without something to protect it. I mean protect your pocket from the light. I got 3 holes in my newly purchased 5.11 tactical pants thanks to the crenellated bezel and tail cap.kex said:just got my Virgin Surefire E2D hehehe..
i must say the build quality is really impressive, feels really solid holding it.
the bezel looks like it is ready to take down a bear anytime !
nuts said:Ok guys. I've been using a Maglite all this while and the bulb blew when I was on a trip (lucky got spare). Looking for a LED one. With a budget of S$50-$60, which are your recommendations for a small+light+bright LED torchlight? ;p
Of course, where to get them would be good too!
Thanks!!
cyrilng said:You can actually get 1W & 3W LED modules for AA MagLites costing US$30-45.

cyrilng said:Probably the bulb is spoilt as Xenon & filament wire type bulbs are fragile. That is another advantage of LEDs, less susceptible to drop damage & have longer lifetime & use less power.
Try looking in the tailcap under the spring for a spare bulb which it should come with.
morganoh said:You interested in a Nuwai Q3?
Its a 3W led light bright and good, 100,000 hrs so no need to waste money on changing light bulb, most important cheaper than other lights of the same quality S$88.
