the problem won't arise so fast. just that the battery won't last as long as one that is discharged frequently.

I've read before that frequent discharging is not necessary, and charging of half-charged Ni-MH batteries is not detrimental to the performance of the batteries.

Now if I can only recall where I read this...

Collected the sanyo charger + 2 more batteries this evening.

But just now when I try to charge the batteries, it seems the LED for the charger only lights up for about 2 seconds and then no more liao. After a while, I try to put it to charge again but to no avail.

Think the charger that I received might be defective.:(

mine -- no LED at all. Why ??????

Thanks jason and the group who organised this MO. really appreciated it. Didnt know that the charger can be used worldwide too. it'll be really cool.

Do you guys hearing some on and off sound when charging?

You're welcome.

Btw, it's a good thing you get to use an intelligent charger as a first charger. I used to have this GP Powerbank which takes 16 hrs to charge 4 x 1600 mAh AA batts :what:

does the batts come charged??.. cos i need to pass to my fwen :dunno:
