Tokina 28-70 F2.6-2.8 AT-X Pro II User Report

You could bring the lens to some shops in Peninsular/Aldephi and ask how much it cost to clean it up.

Do bear in mind that after cleaning, some of the lens elements might loose the coatings. Then, the lens performance might be somewhat affected.

I have the first 28-70mm f/2.6-2.8 AT-X Pro lens which is fixed to F70 camera and only recently did I take a serious look at it. The lens have fungus owing to neglect. Could any bro recommend a shop for servicing please? Or should I send it to CP? Thanks.

Somehow, I haven't been shooting at F2.8 for a very long time and that was becos I have been thinking that it ain't good enough at F2.8. Well, I could always try and test it out. Now, to my surprise, I got much, much better than I expect. So, here it goes

From now onwards, encouraged by such results, i would be shooting more and more at F2.8. Or else, I have not been make full use of this lens, so to speak.

Many versions becos Tokina loves continuous improvements. Improvements not necessarily in terms of better lens, but may be better profits or better pricing. Hahaha.

Well, gotta be patient la. There are quite a few great ones floating around from time to time.

BTW, I am not selling mine yet. Maybe in 8years time....... Anyone out there wanna wait 8years?
