eh. dun tell me the colours differ so much?

u gave the tokina shot extra special treatment, didnt u? ;p

i love my 11-16 too

Hey I didn't know you had one.

No, not really, I think I picked the wrong 18-55 picture, but the other one isn't much better just slightly darker.

Where is it? Ah here :

Just the time of day can drastically affect the overall lighting of the impressions. The Tokina just came out sharper and it should! It cost a hell of a lot more too!

Here's a non-pano version and non-edited. Just a shift in position and the lighting becomes very dark.

Hope to come back with beautiful pics like yours when i come back from my trip :)

have not tried shooting landscape with my 12-24 yet....

I think you should be happy with the 12-24, at least you can zoom in more than mine. I do find the speed and sharpness very handy with the 11-16 and it is 80% on my camera. Are you coming to Australia?

Hiya Samo! U residing in Australia? Beautiful country, nice beaches, nice weather, nice people, nice everything. In singapore, only ERPs, Traffic Police & Traffic Jams...
which part of australia? Love yr fotos. trust it will sell like hotcakes in stock foto sites!

Thanks mate but my photos are just memories to cover up my green walls.

Singapore ain't too bad, lovely weather every day, great food (and cheap!), safe and affordable.

Hi guys, can't help but ask after reading all the post in this thread ... is the speed of both lens, f2.8 & f4, that obvious? Now considering getting the 11-16. Thanks ... :)

obvious? hmm.. in bright daylight, u wun use the large aperture, so it's not obvious.

if u shoot available light indoors, it's very obvious.

u could ask, max usable ISO 1600 vs ISO3200, is the difference obvious? ;)

one thing to note, being UWA lens, large f stops won't really give u shallow depth of field. so in that aspect, u dun gain much.

Haha!!! Ya ... guess the 11-16's for me then. Will start going to fields for low light landscape in few months time. :)
