Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 Nikon mount Conflict with D-300

Dear seniors,

Encountered an interesting problem after buying the above len. My D300 was ok with single point AF till the above len is attached. The function cannot be deselected even though Auto area AF was selected. Hence, now, only Auto area button is used,without the single point AF. What should i do ?Help.....

I don't use a d300 so not sure what you are talking abt. Maybe you can try cleaning the contacts on yr camera and lens.
