tokina 11-16 on 7D & 5D2 + 17-40 added compare

11-16 lens is really very good in quality at F2.8. However, most people still prefers 10-22 from Canon based on the poll on WA thread.

ya , many prefer the 10-22. i prefer the 10-22 also... if only i can use it on the 5D without conducting surgery on the lens mount haha....

Hi there, you should keep the tokina lens. Can use it on both your DSLR. If you get the 10-22, can only use it on your 7D. What a waste!! Rather kill 2 birds with the Tokina.

Yes the 11-16 is an excellent lens. A lot of film makers use a modified version for their cameras. It tells us a lot about the quality of this little gem. The modified version costs 3.5k USD =X.
