Hey Guys,
I've just bought my first DSLR after a long delay. Got a EOS 40D instead of the 450D. The grips really small for the 450D. Hands might probably cramp after some time if were to get the 450D. My piano teacher sure was right when she said i have big hands. :sweat:
Anyway, hope to join you guys for suitable outings. Currently owning only a 50mm f1.8. Quite fun playing with that though. Next lens would be 11-16mm tokina. Yup. I'm very into landscapes.:thumbsup:

dunno leh... nowadays hands itchy see alot of macro shots~ thinking of getting a macro lens soon.... perhaps some initiation ritual or outing?
Hmm... Do you guys take landscapes? See quite a bit of macro and bird shoots. Not really interested in birds. As for macro... that's one of the reasons why i bought my camera. But it seems that I'll need some flash units to go along with the lens.

As for macro, if you want a cheap way to try out if it is to your liking is to get a macro adapter.

Yup. If a dedicated macro lens is what u want, it is good enough. Let your wallet tell u what to get. Perhaps you are quite new here, after a while u will see there are sooooooooo many "I want this but it is too expensive for me but I want it then again it is too expensive for me but then again I want this lens dunno got second hand one or not har then again maybe a higher end lens maybe you can try to convince me to part with my money as if u get a commission from the sales and tell me a million reasons why I should buy this lens but I dun have the money but I really really want it.. rinse and repeat.." here in CS. If u have a budget, post it here. I will post a single lens model. No headache
I think almost all B.A.T.S. are macro shooters. There used to be one that's an odd one out, he was an organizer. :bsmilie:
