To remove or not to remove... M9 base plate

Just curious. Do you guys usually remove the M9 base plate to transfer pics from the SD card? Or use the USB port provided?

Luigi M-Mate 2 Base plate seems like a viable option, except for the COST!!! :bigeyes:

Any thoughts?

I think there should be any problems removing the base plate multiple times.

The film bodies & users have been around for ages & M3 bodies are still not having any problems from the constant removal of base plates.

If the M9 base plate can fail then er........ Dunno what to say ........

Bro just enjoy the camera lah. It's meant to be as simply as it gets. Don't go overboard with the mods. :bsmilie:

After paying premium for Leica's flagship model, I will use whatever comes with the camera and if by doing so, I face problems, I'll send it back for a warranty claim.

I believe the camera is built tough and expect no less.:bsmilie:

No need to remove. Jusr transfer via the cable.
