i think that's what Juventus was thinking back then..... :bsmilie:
"The way we have acquitted ourselves this season we will go to Old Trafford believing we can get a result. If we acquit ourselves well, theres no reason why we cannot cause an upset."
- Andy Cole

Another striker hmmm... i think we need more young defender to replace those ageing ones!
cos they like no stamina like that lei... always in goals in the last 10 min for the past few games !!!!!!![]()
Yes, defenders are needed and a defensive midfielder to fill the void left by the departure of Roy Keane.
Our defence is never the same snice Stamp n co leave!
Btw today last day liao any signings?
Yeah, since the departure of Jaap Stam, Gary Pallaster and Steve Bruce, we don't very reliable and strong defenders. Ferdinand comes close but he is prone to lack of concentration. Ferdinand and Vidic make a good pairing but whether they are as good as Pallaster and Bruce, is yet to be seen since this is only the second season they are playing together.
Didn't watch the match but I saw a virtual replay of the goal. This kinda goal could be a candidate for Goal of the Season. Not many players can score such goal.

Larsson salutes fellow striker:
Henrik Larsson saluted the vision of Wayne Rooney after the striker set up the Swede to score his first Premiership goal for the Reds.
Rooney slipped a superb pass into the path of second half substitute Larsson who fired United into a 3-0 lead, before Rooney himself added a fourth.
"As long as you move well when you have a player like Wayne around you're always likely to get chances," Larsson told MUTV.
"I thought Wayne was going to go for goal initially, but at the last second he slipped a great ball through to me. I got a good touch on it and was delighted to see it go in past the keeper.
"It's easy to play with great players and Wayne is definitely a great player. He has superb vision and can score goals.
"I enjoy playing with the likes of Wayne and Cristiano [Ronaldo] immensely. At 35-years-old I didn't expect to get this kind of chance again. So to be here now playing alongside them is fantastic," he added.
The 4-0 victory was the perfect response to the late gasp defeat at Arsenal ten days ago as the Reds kept up their six point lead over Chelsea.
"We didn't enjoy losing the Arsenal game but none of us were worried about the response," insisted Larsson. "As professional footballers you have to pick yourselves up and get on with it.
"The manager has a lot of experience of these situations and he instils a lot of confidence into the players which is very important. There are some good characters in the dressing room and there is a great team spirit."
