Roeder: There's No Rossi Messy
Glenn Roeder has hit back at criticism by Sir Alex Ferguson of the way he is handling on-loan striker Giuseppe Rossi. The United boss expressed disappointment at the Italian Under-21 stars lack of game-time during his three months at St James Park. Roeder has named Rossi in his squad for tonights Premiership clash with Reading. The Toon chief said: Everyones entitled to their opinion. Alex said what he feels he wants to. But hell also know, having managed for 20 years, that he would do what he feels is right to do and Id be no different. Without doubt Giuseppe would have played more in the UEFA Cup had he been available. Its a new experience for him that ultimately he will get benefit from."
