Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is set to make a bid for Juventus and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to solve his goalkeeper crisis. Yesh YEsh!!!!!

If Buffon goes over then EPL die liao.

No no ... the hope of him going to chelsea has been thrashed by the man himself, Buffon, who stated that he want to stay with Juve.

Swee lah, stay in Italy better for him.

yesss... man u at pole position again... ;)

Fantastic game.

Very nervy, can go either way if the strikers took their chances....but MU looks more hungry imo....Benitez as usual very negative...remind me Gerald Houlier....waste all the talents that he had with defensive play :thumbsd:

Gd strike from Rio. :bsmilie:

i was at chjimes watching the game. Good atmosphere and another great win over Liverpool, who seemed very subdued tonight!

I'm also at chjimes watching the game. I still got my ESPN goodies bag. :bsmilie:

A good win for us but I found it very strange from the onset when Benitez fielded a negative 4-5-1 formation and playing Gerard in the wing. With his rotating policy and fielding players in the wrong position, Liverpool is suffering. Gd for us. :bsmilie:

Yeah... such a beauty coontrol the ball with his right foot and scored using his left leg! power man!!! it will be better if he first timed it!;p

This man u team reminds me of the team which dominate in the 90's when everyone is scoring from stirker to midfield to defenders and now waiting for goalie to score!:bsmilie:

Anyway hope they carry on their winning ways in 2 days time against Crewe Alexandra in carling cup  ...SAF may rest the first team! And Bolton the following weekend!

i find liverpool always play defensive when playing away, always 4-5-1....

Surely no problem facing Crewe. But Bolton is on fire now, would be a tough team to beat at Reebok Stadium.

dun forget Man U drew against two lower divison teams in the recently abt two seasons ago, one of them is a non league team somemore ~

Rafa's theory of playing gerard on right is wrong, coz put it simply Xabi is not on par with Gerard in terms of tenacity, power and strength, all the critical criterias needed to play in the physical world of EPL. I just felt that Xabi's game is better for Champion's League where the emphasis is more on possession, passing and control of game with a slightly slower tempo.

how I look at it, I dun see Man U mounting a serious challenge.
Either the EPL teams are too weak, or Man U has not meet a really strong team.
I hope they prove me wrong, and they pick the league title after so long barren years.

MU played a lot of home games lately....we will see if the lads can hold off when their turn to visit Stamford Bridge, Emirates stadium and Anfield in the next half

Man U squad is wafer thin. A few injuries you can see those lousy players in the 1st team squad.

Flectcher, O'Shea?? How these buggers ever feature in? Sometimes they are just passenger.
Scholes has been bringing in depth to the team now he is fit again.

I hope Heinz, Ji Sung n Smith gets well, n gives Man U additonal dimension.
Ronaldo need to do more on his crosses, n less shooting please.. (he can dribble, but always cross never reaches his intended target)
