To Man Utd Fans... Part 2

Well...maybe they need more time. It's not like they are playing all the games.

i still remember the days when neville, butt and beckham first came out. They lost pretty badly in the beginning and the media and loyal fans all dismissed them as youngsters who couldn't make it. They wanted big names.

But all the criticism serves to drive them to prove ppl wrong.

Cantona was marked as a mistake when fergie first bought him....many thought he was mad for bringing in a man who destroyed all the previous teams he was in......

Of cos that is not to say Richardson and co can emulate their pre-decessors. How i certainly hope so.

neville, butt and beckham, altho imo aren't very good players, they have something that i feel is lacking in man U's new youngsters.... passion. the only young one i see that has passion is rooney.

It should have been at least a 6 - 0 trashing... Rooney still doesnt look on form... hope heinze is alright... :)

hmm, i feel that man u had control over the game, but i feel that it would not have been 6-0. i think the forwards lack confidence in finishing. and ur right, rooney still lacks confidence. i also hope heinze is alright, he is the backbone in man u's back 4 currently. without him...

heinze is not really the backbone in the back 4 currently.. he just came back from injury but didn't perform well so far..

Wow, what a performance. Ole, ole, ole,......... Ronaldo put on an excellence performance and should be rewarded with at least a goal if one of his shots had not hit the woodwork. To me, he was the man of the match and Newcastle boss, Roeder, described him as their tormentor-in-chief. Three players got booked trying to stop him! This boy is less individualistic and getting better and better. Giggs is injured but if he is fit and had played on the other flank, Newcastle's defence, already reeling from Ronaldo's incessant and easy foray up the left flank, would have totally collapsed.

On the contrary...i feel it was a good performance by the forwards (except rooney). You could see how dejected he looked.

Rather than a lack of confidence, it was a slpendid display by harper and Butt for shutting out the middle.

Heinze is ok onli hamstring problem should be able to recover on time as the next game against wigan on the 14 oct n the following CL game against FC Copenhagen on the 17th oct. Enough time for the recovery!

Ole Ole Ole Ole! Wif 4 goals to his name he is 1 short of top scorer SAHA.

Seven United players have been named in Steve McClaren's England squad for October's Euro 2008 qualifiers against Macedonia and Croatia.

Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney return after missing McClaren's first two games through injury and suspension respectively.

They are joined by Rio Ferdinand, Wes Brown, Michael Carrick, Kieran Richardson and Ben Foster in the 24-man party.

Seems llike they do not have much rest after all!

yap... too much internations in a team will not help.

actually i dun think solskjaer deserved so much praised for the two goals, he was just at the right place at the right time. What i'm trying to say is that ANY strikers (or even goalkeepers) can "score" the two goals if they were in solskjaer's positions. i strongly feels that the second goal should credit to Vidic's.

Not that i'm trying to put solskjaer down, but seriously imo, he doesnt deserved much attention for the two goals.

There are tons of players in his position n still can't score. It's the killer instinct man. Thou i agree that the 2nd goal shouldn't be credited to sokskjaer.

Singapore soccer news appearing on ESPN Soccernet, which is quite rare ... hahah ....

Bid to bribe player fails, claim Singapore club

-SINGAPORE, Oct 4 (Reuters) - An attempt to buy an S-League soccer result has been foiled after a bribe was rejected by a Sporting Afrique player, the Singapore club's chairman Collin Chee told Reuters on Wednesday.

hmmm i kind of disagree...
yes those 2 goals are quite "simple" goals and many players could have scored too if they were solskjaer at that moment. but, BUT, how many players have that predator instinct to know WHERE to position themself in those moments? imo, positioning is an important skill to any striker, and i feel some man u's strikers are lacking that skill currently....

predator instinct? Guess it's just plain luck.

i bet with every cents i hv that many soccer players wish they hv such luck. to be position where the ball always "come" to u.

Another win in the bag. A lethargic first half with Wigan leading 1-0. Fortunately, they changed from a 4-3-3 formation to 4-4-2, as I predicted, and with the introduction of Giggs, Man U began to nominate in the second half. The goals came. Woohooo.:)

yay!
i was disappointed to see man u losing 1-0 just after half time. didnt watch it as i was out and i saw it on a television.
when i reached home, watched the remaining of the match. man u came back 3-1....
did rooney played well?

total dominance in the 2nd-half...gigg's introduction is well-timed...rooney is improvin'...job well done...
