Ok, how much?? Is it some math here?sound ex..
My guess would be around S$1.5k for the 17.5mm. Depends on how you look at it, its all metal construction with a lens layout to get the f0.95 which will last a lifetime.

Hi bro, i am a rangefinder shooter so 35mm and 50mm prime are my goto lenses(m4/3 format 17.5mm / 25mm). For 14mm is too wide for my type of shooting. I a "Bokeh" kind of guy so would prefer fast aperture lenses. I have a olympus m.zuiko 9-18mm to cover the wide angle side and a nikkor 105mm to cover tele side.

Ok I get it. Some how I think most, if not all, will naturally choose your choice of lens to own.
You are a serious photograher huh... you take photo for a living?
You have a specific choice.
Why I ask is, as usual, many who wish to get additional, escpecially the fast lens in M4/3. Often the kit lens provided already cover.
ONLY DIFF IS THE FASTNESS. but many might be put off by the price.
Not much been forumed abt the goodness of fast lens compare to those kit len etc. Except those who are the old bird....

Anyway,the old fashion way.
To Bros, Carlzeiss/Blavios and all who had chosen the Voitlander 25mmF0.95
What is the ultimate drive that you guys choose this instead of the pana 20mmf1.7?
Cost Vs Quality...??
Please share you words.Thanks. You words mean more than the guy over the counter or the reviews...
For all who are looking at these mm range
For those who are budget too.
Tks...
Nope i dont shoot for a living
Although kit lens covers the focal length, i draw great satisfaction in using a full metal lens where you manual focus and set the aperure to capture the decisive moment
I am also after how the lens will render a scene and its pretty unique to each lens
Its always personal on how/way you interact with your equipment to capture the moment
I am inspired. U know what u want in photography and thanks for sharing. I am most of the time a follower..lol

There is this graph in the om-d thread.
I find it quite disheartening.
It show all cameras of all types sold in Japan in decreasing. Trend started abt 3 yrs ago.
Just abt the same time smart phone camera capabilities improve tremendously, namely iPhone.
And the editing software becoming easier to use...
So sad. Not to mention other countries.
Pns facing high risk of been replaced.
No new blood...
Newtoilet said:Hi all,
Pls advise is there any tele zoom lens for m4/3, Fast lens. Dun seem to find lei
Most F abt 4.
any that is lower than f 3.5?? Or lower.
Not yet, Panasonic should launch the 35-100mm f2f.8 constant aperture soon.
Even other makers M43 lens also no have huh..
Also why is it so that fast len reserved for the prime and not zoom lens. from what I have seen.
Techincal diff? i just find it strange.
Seek expert advise,
I hoping to get ranging from 70-300mm zoom len with wide aperture, fast lens for the M43 camera.
Any recommedation as to how is it possible? what sort of mix and match can there be....
Alternative, should I wait or just go the the existing from oly n panasonic tele zoom M43. which all the F are "slow"...
thks.....
At this point in time, there isn't any m43 native zoom lens that is faster than f3.5
If you really need AF, then the closest I can think of is using the 4/3 lenses with MMF1/MMF2 adaptor using the Zuiko 90-250mm f2.8 or Zuiko 35-100mm f2.0.
Both of them have constant aperture and are costly to buy.
Oh, Tks..
Using the MMF1/2 adaptors? functions wise will there be any restriction?
Ya Higher the F higher the $$, just dunno why is it so?
Techinically so hard to make a bigger F and a smaller???
For M43, aware of using adapters to solve the short fall on the limited range of lens.
But usage wise and IQ not much been mentioned on these setup.
can Bro/s who had used, pls educated?
