Nyaaaaaah. Still waiting for a Yashica 124 to float into the classified section. Eager to join you guys soon!
Nikkornos said:Bro, I have owned and still use the Yashica 635, Mat, 124G mat 2 versions etc.
They are over rated by the Angmo (who can't afford a Rolleicord and look down on Seagull).
The performance is about slightly better than the Seagull 4A107 in therms of colour, but sharpness may loose out.
Many of them have Seiko copal shuttle issues, and fungus at the rear of the top lens.
There is one selling in Ebay for US$400 serviced by Mark Hama. It is better to get a Rolleicord.
Lua Lua may agree on this. Right?![]()

Thank you guys, nikkornos, raytoei and lualua for your advice![]()
I'm pretty new to the tlr scene and I'm all ears to suggestions and tips.
I was initially hunting for a seagull here in chungmuro, Korea (holiday) but there were not much tlrs on the shelves. If I could, I would try getting the rolleicord on eBay but I'm really restricted to meet ups locally only.
Need to research more about the cameras I guess :/
@sweat100 your inbox is full, can't send my reply![]()
Thanks all
so when is the outing?![]()
