Tips on the 7hi / 7i / 7

woa! then got a 'proper' way to 'support' the lens then?
Or have to self-make one to hold it?
62mm cir polarizers don't seem to cause much vignetting, so pretty safe... (ie, i took out my 49mm filter , then step up 49->62 and then the polariser itself).
Thinking of getting 62mm UV filter ... as my UV filter sometimes causes slight vignetting (prolly when a lot of right from the top). Any pros/cons?
Prolly would look odd-shaped
and the default lenshood isn't gonna work..

arr? wat cam u using? for the 7hi 49mm UV wun cause vignette even at wide angle 28mm wat. i'm using a Tokina UV...

for my cam with 48mm theard i stack 3 then will get vignet, but mine is 38mmwide
is the 7hi a battery sucker?

i'm using 7hi lor, at widest, sometimes I get vignetting (not all the time, prolly due to diff angles of light sources).
I'm using some hoya hmc super filter or what.. 49mm. that's all.
usually when i stack one more filter, it's for macros (i dun ahve much filters .. so. not a very good ans) at tele.
well, battery sucker? actually i think its requires a lot of power at certain stages (flash, write/etc), other than that, I think it's pretty normal -- a set of AA can last as good as those proprietary batt.
But of course, I usually use EVF mode (not auto nor LCD, unless wanna share the pic w/ others ) , iso100.. etc.
Yea, when u use elec mag mode, u can magnify (see the effect) in both lcd and evf ; however, in digital zoom mode, you can only see the magnification effect in lcd, not in evf (u'll see a darked screen, with a brighter center part of the evf).
I usually use elec mag mode more often as i usually use evf... to get the focus right, (but still screws up here, me, that is)...
