62mm thread. That's so big. That means it won't cause vignettes. And heavy too.

A warning though.... the 14B is pretty heavy and you need to support it well... if not the camera's lens might give way....

woa! then got a 'proper' way to 'support' the lens then?
Or have to self-make one to hold it?
62mm cir polarizers don't seem to cause much vignetting, so pretty safe... (ie, i took out my 49mm filter , then step up 49->62 and then the polariser itself).
Thinking of getting 62mm UV filter ... as my UV filter sometimes causes slight vignetting (prolly when a lot of right from the top). Any pros/cons?
Prolly would look odd-shapedand the default lenshood isn't gonna work..

What is electronic magnification? When enabled, i can't use the 2x digital zoom.
BTW ... you can see the 2X zoom only on the EVF .... on the LCD ... it will be zoomed .. I think ... still reading
Then do i still need to press the magnification button ?Originally posted by aong
Yea, when u use elec mag mode, u can magnify (see the effect) in both lcd and evf ; however, in digital zoom mode, you can only see the magnification effect in lcd, not in evf (u'll see a darked screen, with a brighter center part of the evf).
I usually use elec mag mode more often as i usually use evf... to get the focus right, (but still screws up here, me, that is)...![]()
