He is talking about ghosting. Try removing your filter and you will probably see that reflected image disappear.

It is caused when light enters your camera through the lens, hits the sensor, but some of it reflects off the sensor onto the filter and back onto the sensor, thus causing a 'ghost' image. Because the filter is directly parallel to the sensor, the filter is often the most likely cause of ghosting.

Yaya.. :D is call ghosting thing... oic is the filter problem.
Ok noted. This week will go and try again.

Thanks la everyone for all 指教。。。
;)

This is something that needs clarification. IS will only help to a certain extend. For night scenes, you are talking about exposures in seconds. Turn off the IS and grab the tripod.

yes i agree if u have the time to slowly compose and have tripod.
offen we are on the move, especially during tour without tripod to reduce weight and the trouble to have tripod stick to camera all time (unless buy better tripod with quick release base plate type)

by the way, why on tripod, we need to turn off IS?

IS looks for vibration to eliminate. When on a tripod, there is no vibration, but the IS feature continues to look for it, hence, creating it's own vibration. You wouldn't want that to happen to your night photo.

hmm ... so if we think we have super steady hands, we should turn off IS?
err ... but when the mirror flip, consider vibration?

i dont think super-steady hands would equal the steadiness of attaching your cam to a tripod ;)

no hands (our body moves without you knowing) or IS is as steady as the least expensive tripod. I bring my tripod even on tour, that is why they came out with short min length, light weight travel tripods.

If you are a serious landscapist, tripod is more important than any L lens to you.

And to answer the question, yes when mirror flip it is consider as a vibration, that is why theres a mirror lock up function for long exposure needs, but make sure you use a remote shutter release when you do that orelse you are wasting your efforts :bsmilie:

However steady hands you have, you can't hit it absolutely still for 1 second. We're breathing and our blood is racing through all parts of our body. : )

 thats the way man.

you will need cable release if u want to use bulb also. its not expensive for 3rd party ones.

Mine's original. Even so, it's not that expensive.

Sceneries take time to begin with, be it exploring for an angle or waiting for the right light. Just depends on how dedicated you are. I have no problems carrying a tripod on vacation. Personally, I don't find high ISOs, shallow DOFs and handholding at ludicrous speeds acceptable for sceneries. Your prints will make you regret that. You mileage might vary though.
