thanks for viewing -- this is the "preview" only, though.

hmm looks a bit underexposed in my opinion.

longer version

ok some feedback from me.

i find your daytime photos over exposed and night time photos under expose. Visible OOF in the photos as well.

the sudden black out ard 28 secs dun work for me, cos i got blinded temporarily for 5 secs then next i see some under exposed night photos.

good attempt though. hope to see more of your works next time.

thanks for comments.

added some new scenes, re-coordinated some beats/scenes, and tried some colour correction.

not used to editing video and this is taken by video camera, as opposed to DSLR/DSLR video. still learning how to expose properly (all manually, no choice, and some limitations such as max shutter speed being 1/2s) over prolonged period, especially during transition of day-night.

(addendum: song was supposed to fade out properly, but youtube didn't upload the full clip... for reasons unknown to me).

more experiments... this video is just a first cut, and some of the jerks/blips were not inherent in the source footage... the fireworks were originally shot in overcrank, but that's for another clip =p

has anyone ever successfully shot a flicker-free timelapse using aperture-priority?

Dude! looks good to me though it would be even better if you did HDR. Just saying.(for the first video: Singapore spirit)

The second one looks much better. it would be excellent if it was hdr. I suppose i'm a hdr freak. ahah

dats too tough and time consuming.

do u know a time lapse video had hundreds of photos merge to form a few seconds or minutes of photo?

and non HDR person already had a tough time doing one or two HDR photo. dun talk about hundreds of them!

thanks for viewing and commenting. yeah, i've seen some HDR timelapses and maybe one day i'll have a go at it :) (ps, the first timelapse was made entirely with a video camera, so not sure if that one can HDR! the second timelapse was made using a DSLR, except for the fireworks).
