Singapore is a clean city... but who keeps it clean?
In today's Singapore, many Singaporeans do not want to take jobs like cleaners or construction workers, etc... and many foreign workers are hired. Also, Singaporeans who have "no choice" because they are unskilled or older in age become janitors, toilet cleaners... and still having to compete with younger and less-paid foreign workers.
Living in Singapore is not as simple as some may think...
However, we must not forget that the simple cleaner is of great value. The cleaner keeps Singapore clean. They are not "lower class" or to be looked down upon. They are as valuable as an executive working in an MNC. They wake up earlier then most, puts in a hard day's work, earns an honest living...
