I tried to reply to a thread earlier. But I got the message: "Theread expired."

May I know what is the 'shelf life' of a thread?

Depends on the forums.

Threads in Kopitiam auto-expire if no new posts are made within 30 days, threads in Buy & Sell auto-expire in 45 days. Other forums have no limit on auto-expiry.
