Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has today revealed that Daniel Agger is unlikely to play again this season.
The Danish defender will undergo surgery on his troublesome metatarsal injury early next week.

"It's a blow for Daniel but we want to get his problem sorted," said Benitez.

"We have defensive cover and Martin Skrtel is playing very well. Daniel will be back for next season."

Mystery as Champions League draw appears on internet two hours early

Controversy surrounded the Champions League draw today after the full slate of quarter-final ties - including Liverpool v Arsenal, Manchester United v Roma and Chelsea v Fenerbahce - were predicted nearly two hours in advance on the internet.

Though there is no suggestion that anything untoward occurred, details of a supposedly 'rigged' draw emerged on various websites at 10.28am on Friday morning.

It was claimed that the odds of anyone guessing the full draw - including which quarter-final winners would be drawn against each other in the semi-finals - were 191/1.

we drew them at stamford bridge and than lost to them in the league at home and rafa tactically outwitted jose for the second leg at anfield.

the second time was we lost at stamford by one lampar goal and agger scored the equaliser off stevieg freekick at anfield. and reina made those pk saves.
