Thinking of switching from DSLR set up to Leica RF

From a personal experience, i start with dslr, to grd, to bessa rf, to rolleiflex, to compact film cameras, and finally with leicas.

Each time i switched to a new camera, i always thought "this is the one for me, it allows me to concentrate on taking pictures..."

Of course i never settle down with any of them despite always had thought it'll be used by me for as long as i am into this hobby.

I cannot say that i'll end up using leicas 10 years later, because every now and then i wanted to try hasselblad... Leica feels great now, but i always reached a point where i grew bored with a camera.

A dslr system is sufficient for street shooting. In fact, u are probably going to take less lenses out if u just use a zoom setup. Like a 18-70mm, comparing to carrying 28mm, a 50mm and a 90mm.
It's also more versetile as you can often focus closer shall you require. Unless u are certain you don't need those perks, and can settle using one body one prime lens.
Current dslr are getting smaller and smaller anyway.

Using a leica just feels different.. It gives a lot of control to the users. I enjoy using my current set, which is a m6 and asph cron 35, but i don't find it to lessen much bulks compared to when i was using a d40 and a sigma 17-70mm, which with a wrist strap is very comfortable.
