got. buy a ball head, then attach to a solid aluminium plate. http://www.overxposed.com/oxproplatform.html

oops... later i start another avalanche of ppl buying aluminium plates to mount their 400 2.8s.....

yap UD50 can hold 70-200 with small cam body attached. But the hood had to be reversed.
