And so it goes, that my Lowepro Toploader 75 AW was sold today, and my Lowepro SR D200AW + lens case 1W might be sold to my friend in the near future, as well as my Lowepro 60AW pouch to another friend.

The facts don't lie.

Lowepro is quickly being forgotten over here.

This is scary.

Siao liao... Kenna poisoned by you guys already. Think i'll get the following.

Pro Speed Belt L
2 x Lens Changer 35
Speed Changer
Lightning East

Zexun, does your belt system make your pants drop without the harness?

Haha. You planning on going out just with the belt system? I highly recommend the steroid speed belt that way. I assume you'll want to fit your 5D2 Gripped, 24-70L and 135L, and 580EXII, right? Not as heavy as my setup, but the thicker steroid speed belt really works. The separate rail is really needed in my opinion because I like to move around the elements very frequently. Quite difficult with the pro speed belt because you have to hold up the entire belt.

Think tank products are really great. I'm selling all my lowepro stuff now because I don't use it. Going to put them into my tripod fund.

Cheers,
Zexun

Hahahah oh no!!! Poisoned, officially. Just bought the following before TK close shop just now.

Speed Belt Steroid L (plus free buckle extension cos abit short!)
Lens Changer 35 x 2

Will wait for the Pixel Harness next month, and see if I need a Speed Changer or Chimp Cage for the body :P

Oh no, a bit short ah? You should've gotten the XL then.

When put onto a think tank bag like the Streetwalker series, Shapeshifter, Glass Taxi etc etc as a waist-belt to hold up the bag, you need it to be at least 2 to 3 inches longer in length.

But anyway, if you don't own any other TT backpacks, this shouldn't concern you. Hope you find good use in your belt system!

Heh, the problem with size L and XL is that the waist lengths are not exactly overlapping. The XL is way too loose for me, while the L barely makes it for my big waist haha. Thus the extension.

The steroid belt is really comfy!

i realised that only TT has a lens case for belt system that can hold a 70-200 f2.8 with hood attached. the other brands only hold the 70-200 f2.8 with hood reversed or none at all...

can't remember the model name of the lens case though:embrass: but very keen on it...

anyone knows the price?

which one can hold the 70-200 with hood attached?:dunno:

Both that I told you. LC 75 pop down or whip-it-out. I prefer the whip-it-out because the lens is pointing upwards with the hood outside the lens pouch. Check out their site for more details.

You are referring to the 70-200 f/2.8 right?
How about the 70-200 f/4?
Do you know which pouch can hold the lens with the hood attached?

looks like quite few items for the waist storage are out of stock.

The same lens pouches will work, though the length for the 70-200 f/4 is relatively a little shorter.

Thanks for the tip!
Are the skin series as good as the modular series?

different tools for differenr folks, i guess. The skin system is unpadded which works great for those who don't need on-waist protection against bumps.
