By the time you guys finish waiting for the MO, the local dealer would have been confirmed. I got some news that a shop around Suntec area will be getting the dealership....

Well, won't that be better? We can try out the bags without having to guess if our equipment will be able to fit and we can get the items right away!. But the MO will continue if the store charges exorbitant price and what's more, will they offer the same promotion provided by TTP during November and December, if the store does open in November.

Agreed with Randius, it is an advantage to have a distributor to help to get the bags for local sales. But it is known that the $$$ will be more as they have to factor in the shippment cost and GST, which happened to other equipments. Let's wait for a while to see if the cost is justifiable to get from local or oversea.

that means the shop has yet to sign a contract with TT,yes?
it would b better to let everyone know after the shop has gotten the dealership.

i understand how yuo feel lol. when i got my tripod and monopod set, i think i only eat grass too.. lol. think of a way to customise a module 6 from what is a available in singapore. lol

Which tripod and monopod did you get? I am looking at the Manfrotto 055XPRO vs the Gitzo 3540XLS. I can pay off the 055XPRO right now but have to pay by installment just to get the 3540XLS... Was thinking of just upgrading to the best and be done with it.

Dunno if Bazooka will fit the Gitzo or not.

i would strongly recommand you go forthe best once and for all. then no more upgrade.

GF was not very happy for quite sometime.
Bazooka should do the job, but i do not recommand a bag and use a strip instead as one of the main probem is keeping the bag when you are using the tripod.

Randius Bro, as what Gibert said is true. Better get a comfortable shoulder strap to sling the tripod over your shoulder. Personal experience. As for tripod, go for the one which you most likely going to use for. Lighter ones are more for walkabout. Heavier ones are more for wildlife and sports, as the equipments used are more likely super long lens and heavy DSLR. . Maybe you could get the TT shoulder strap instead.
