care to share how you processed them? I really like the feel of the pictures, and I'm sure many of us do too.

Love your works! specially the 1st one.
Very "Calvin Klein"
2nd batch (#5-#8) are all good
love them
Haha, no wonder her face expression is like -->;p
:bsmilie:
londonnnnnnnnnnAnyway, where is this place?
why not? maybe when you stay here for an extended period and are not too well-off you'd get what i mean. :bsmilie: there is so much to love about london, so much to hate. the other day i met a taxi driver who's from sierra leone, he's been here for 16 years with his wife and kids back home.. i asked him why he didn't want to go home and he didn't reply me.I don't like the thread title :bsmilie:
But I like the captures. I think #1 is a potentially good shot, but the balance of weight is off. Though honestly, if I am looking for a home I probably wouldn't be in the mood to take pictures, so hats off for that, and there are really no bad shots here.
I actually like #2, and 7. I kind of like the use of dark space as a balance against the lights. #7 for the billboard adds some vibrancy to the capture and the hustle of the street.
London streets are extremely photogenic, not in the kind of mess like ours. Keep them coming.
PS: I realise you didn't say London, but I am going to guess that.
hey bro thanks!i really like the colour processing, well shots bro!
hey evilmerlin,Were these taken at belly height?![]()
hey danny,I actually kinda like #3 even with the amputation... it's like a contemporary art photo. #5 is my favorite of all.. very interesting central character with an intriguing expression. It also looks like a carefully composed photo rather than a hip shot.

I like #11. Not sure if it's meant to be soft focus, but thought it works. It seen to be one of the more balance shot here.
thanks for dropping by.. i think it should be due to movement, probably mine..
probably switching lenses soon and stopping the hipshots.. find it very haphazard. :bsmilie:
#9 is quite comical
#9 is great! it's quite rare to see a "happy" street shot, most ppl on the streets look rather grumpy i'm afraid. :bsmilie:
:bsmilie:#9 is quite comical
use viewfinder to hipshots? sorry.. don't really understand..Tried using the viewfinder? One thing that always irritates me when attempting hipshot on my D40 was my walkabout lens being too big, and the preference for handgrip to the neckstrap(look nicer :bsmiliehence I ended up doing everything through the finder, and it's actually easiler.
thanks for dropping by zaren! yeah.. especially in grey london.. it's hard to smile when walking and bumping into people, i guess.#9 is great! it's quite rare to see a "happy" street shot, most ppl on the streets look rather grumpy i'm afraid. :bsmilie:
Yeah, agree~
And bro, why the lady is using her hand to cover her skirt and the guy is showing his fist huh?
What have you done?;p
:bsmilie:
hi pinkfuzzycat -Oxford Street and Tottenham court road scenes!
Nice de-saturation, adds to the atmosphere of the photos
but I'm guessing that it was a pretty grey day too, no?
And, I think #10 is nicely composed!![]()
Some very well captured street photos you've got there. Great work!

I like this. It looks like a simple picture at first, but the shadow of the held hands really brought it forward. 18 is quite nice too.
What I meant previously is to compose by looking through the finder instead of hipshot if you dislike lucky framing occurances. But I realize that is not your intend here(obviously. but I missed it O_O)
Though I do believe after hipshooting for a while, you'll be able to frame at least 70% of what you want, though the missing 30 is usually a LOT, since 100% a picture is 100%.
yo bro.
as usual, great job.
loved most of them.
though i am not intending to know the outcome if it was shot in Singapore. LOL.
